Job Title: Van Driver

Salary: £10.59-£15.89 per hour (Higher rate achieved by working overtime.)

The Best Connection are currently looking for staff to join our clients existing transport team. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with one of the UK’s best-known high-street retailers.

Shifts available: Days shifts available, 5 days over 7. Start time of 5:45. You must be able to work weekends.

You will be given full training on the job working with your colleagues before working by yourself. Delivering to stores in the South East & East London area performing 5-6 drops per day. You’ll also be involved in loading and unloading your vehicle at the start and end of your shifts with the warehouse team members.


Responsibilities:

Checking vehicle daily and ensuring it is kept clean and tidy
Informing Traffic Office of any delays lasting more than 30 minutes
Wearing provided uniform at all times
Keeping load safe and secure at all times
Looking after and preventing damage to, or theft of customers goods or company property
License requirements: Full UK Driving Licence with no more 6 points on licence. Additional serious convictions may be taken into consideration during the assessment process.
