Farrer Barnes is currently working alongside a successful local business in aid of appointing a Financial
Accountant on a permanent basis. 

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will give you responsibility for supporting the month end closing processes and the provision of financial reporting adhering to various accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end closing process (posting journals, consolidations etc)
- Preparation of monthly reporting backs and their subsequent presentation
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Act as a point of liaison for internal and external auditors
- Deputise for the Finance Manager as required
- Ensure compliance with various accounting standards

Requirements:
- Must hold their professional accountancy qualification
- Ability to convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel

The role offers hybrid working.
