Legal Secretary - PT/ Family and Litigation

My client is currently looking for a Part time Legal Secretary to work in both their Family and Litigation department at their Bexleyheath office. The successful candidate will provide full secretarial and administrative support to their fee earners, liaising with clients and other staff as appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the departments.

This is a part time role- 3 days per week- Monday, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s.

Duties
The role includes but is not limited to the following:
• Audio and copy typing all correspondence to include letters and legal forms.
• Client contact- updating clients and dealing with enquiries.
• Undertake general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
• Opening and closing files.
• Access and input data on to the firm’s case management system – Visual Files.

The Candidate
• Proven experience working as a Legal Secretary within a Family and/ or Litigation department.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise.
• Good communication skills both on the telephone and in person.
• Attention to detail.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Salary 22-26k – Pro rata (depending on experience).

The position will be based at their Bexleyheath office. Hours are Monday, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s 9am to 5.30pm with a one hour break for lunch.
