7.5t Driver – Dartford



Our client, a leading UK based retailer, is currently seeking a C1 7.5t Driver to fill a position in Dartford. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid C1 7.5t Licence and must have 7.5t driving experience.



You will be tasked with the delivery of furniture and homeware items to customers homes with the help of a drivers mate. As this is a customer facing role good customer service skills. A good level of physical fitness will also be required as you will spend a lot of time delivering large two man items such as sofas, white goods, sports equipment, furniture, beds, and mattresses etc... 



The shift pattern will be a 4 in 6 (Monday to Saturday) This will give you 3 days off per week to help with work life balance. There is also optional overtime available for those looking to get a little extra from their week.



This is run on 2 different shifts, a 6am start and a 10:30am (7am on Saturdays) start. It is important that you can be flexible to do both. You will be looking at scheduled 10 hours shifts.

Responsibilities of the C1 7.5t Driver

Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.

Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.

Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.

Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Compensation of the C1 7.5t Driver
The starting salary for this position is £14.80 - 15.16 hourly, depending on shift.
