Sales Advisor (Insurance)

KHR have recently partnered with a local specialised insurance provider who offer a bespoke service to a niche target audience.

Currently they are looking to hire a Sales Advisor on a full-time permanent basis to quote home, motor and travel risks to customers and to convert them to new policies accurately and within service deadlines.

Responsibilities of the Sales Advisor

- Provide advice and upsell insurance products, features and benefits
- Ensure the correct use of underwriting guidelines to your authorised standards
- Complete all work in accordance with laid down procedures and performance standards
- Process data accurately and protect the customer in accordance with privacy rules
- Complete ad hoc tasks as required by senior team
- Provide cover for the Customer Services Team and assist existing customers with renewals and enquiries, as determined by management

Candidate Profile

- Be a clear and confident communicator via phone, email and in person
- Previous experience working in insurance or financial services would be advantageous
- Be capable of working collaboratively and flexibly with team members to ensure that business needs are met
- Manage your responsibilities in a fast paced working environment
- Manage workloads speedily and efficiently with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Be computer literate with MS Office products


£21,000 - £23,000pa + 22 days holiday (excluding BH and increasing with service), performance related bonus, pension, some parking is available but is not guaranteed, and Private Medical cover.

Hours of work are relatively flexible and the current team work Monday to Friday either (8.30am-4.30pm, 9am-5pm, 9.30am-5.30pm) - 40 hours per week.

In addition to this the team also work circa 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9am-1pm which is paid at double time overtime rate.
