Motor Personal Injury and Credit Hire Claims Handler

Full time (Hybrid)

Up to £29,000 DOE



Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting for an experienced personal Injury and Credit Hire Motor Claims Handler to join my clients team based in Tonbridge. The successful candidate will have previous experience within PI / Credit Hire claims, will be inquisitive and able to think on their feet!



Duties include:



* Reviewing file assignments; speaking with other departments to identify where liability lies and investigate the validity of the third party claims
* Keeping the claims system up to date; ensuring accuracy
* Managing all third party vehicle damage, PI and third party property damage claims
* Manage credit hire claims as a Non ABI GTA Insurer
* Settle claims in a timely yet effectively manner
* Provide excellent customer service to all customers, third parties and suppliers





To be considered for this role, you will have:



* Previous experience dealing with fast track PI claims within the MOJ and portal and OIC
* Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
* Knowledge and experience of the CPR
* Knowledge of the ABI GTA and an ability to deal with credit hire claims which are outside of GTA guidelines
* Strong knowledge of credit hire case law and the ability to apply this into your day to day work
