Senior Systems Engineer required for a global automotive manufacturing business based in the Medway Towns. This client has a progressive and innovative strategy to keep ahead of the fast paced changes that are imminent in the automotive sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing real-time safety critical powertrain systems for use within passenger car and commercial vehicle applications.

Using platforms such as Matlab Simulink/Statelflow and autocode to design control algorithms and strategies. Develop validation tests for various solutions. Analyse data to be effective in responding to customer requirements and provide the problem solving and proactive approach to the range of requests and innovations being handled within the team.

You will of course have sound knowledge of Fuel Injection Systems / Engine control systems/Powertrain diagnostics and relevant experience of working within a Tier 1 automotive industry environment.
