We are currently looking for a Teacher of Food who is ready to start a new and exciting role in the Tunbridge Wells area. This role is full time with either an immediate start or from January 2023 on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year in an Ofsted rated Outstanding secondary school.

In this job you will get the opportunity to teach a mixed timetable of KS3 and KS4 Food. You may be asked to support in some other areas of the Design Technology curriculum. You will teach in purpose-built classrooms and be supported by a strong department of teachers and support staff.

This school, based in Tunbridge Wells, is considered to be outstanding by Ofsted and teachers refer to behaviour and student engagement as 'excellent'. The school has a good focus on teacher coaching and CPD and student progress. It is easily accessible by public transport and by road with ample parking close to the site.

To be successful in this role you will need:

* The ability to teach Food at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
* A Willingness to inspire and embrace enthusiastic students
* The experience to manage challenging behaviour
* The knowledge of current and innovative teaching methodologies
