Senior Compliance Officer

West Malling

Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid working, Monday- Friday, 35 hours pw

Up to £500 per day



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Compliance Officer within a successful organisation, located in West Malling. This is a new role and my client is keen to hear from those with strong, relevant experience!



Working within this small, pro-active team, the ideal candidate would be willing to hit the ground running, driven in contributing to a diverse organisation.



Duties for this role include but are not limited to:



* Ensuring that internal policies, processes, and procedures adhere to regulatory and legislative requirements
* Advising Senior Management on regulatory compliance throughout the business
* Accurate completion of regulatory reporting
* Implementing and embedding conduct risk framework
* Horizon scanning and summarasing findings to Senior Management



The successful candidate will have/be:



* Significant compliance experience gained in a financial industry or similar environment
* Understanding of Compliance planning and monitoring
* Understanding of risk methodologies and risk related control frameworks
* A Levels or equivalent and an ICA Compliance Certificate or equivalent (or working towards)
* Knowledge of FCA and PRA rules and regulatory requirements, ideally
* The ability to communicate effectively
* IT skills including the use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
