Teacher of ICT in a local SEN school

Your new company
Hays Education are currently recruiting for an ICT Teachers a School in Dover. We are looking for someone who has experience teaching in ICT or computer science related subjects. You will be working with a fantastic school with an excellent reputation who ensure to provide a safe, high quality and positive environment for learning.

Your new role
Your new role as an ICT Teacher will require you to deliver high quality lessons to students in KS3 and KS4. This role will be on a full-time basis start of January until the end of the academic school year in July. As a teacher you will be planning the lessons, deliver them in an engaging manner ensuring they are understanding and assisting students who need extra support. You must also be able to work alongside other staff and members as well as attend meetings. You must record student progress each lesson and provide feedback to the students and parents in parent meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
As a successful ICT Teacher you will need to be able to use Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint well, as well as other software's and applications' in the curriculum. You must have good knowledge in ICT KS3/KS4 curriculum and have good classroom behaviour management skills. You must be either QTS or have experience working as a teacher, teaching ICT or ICT related subjects in a Secondary school setting.
