Goldhawk Associates are working to support an established and innovative Firm of Accountants in Kent. They are looking to appoint an Audit Director/Partner to join their Firm. The role could suit an Associate Director / Director or Partner but you would need to be an RI, or have the ability to gain your RI status.

You will be a trusted advisor, manage the relationships and deliver exceptional service for the clients on your portfolio as well as hold Responsible Individual status. In addition to that, you will build your relationships within the firm and work with others to identify and deliver Advisory projects for the wider client base of the firm.

You will develop relationships with key referrers and maximise and monitor the flow of referrals.

A big part of your role will be working with the Audit & Accounts team to develop their technical and management skills through on-the-job training and feedback. Delegating effectively to the team by appropriate briefing and providing timely constructive feedback on all work and projects and assisting others with development plans as requested.

Participating in the budget-setting process for the firm, you will deliver your annual financial target and manage your WIP and debtors within the parameters set by the firm.

Working with the other Directors and Partners you will help to identify new opportunities and support the firm in meetings and pitches for new work.

You will maintain your technical knowledge in all relevant areas of Audit and Accounts to provide advice. By sharing your knowledge with the team you will help increase and build the Audit & Accounts capability of the firm.
