Teacher of PE
Maidstone
Full Time, Long-term
December 2022 Start

Pearson Whiffin Education are currently looking for a Teacher of PE in the Maidstone area on a full-time, temporary basis starting in December. You will work in a fun and supportive department, delivering PE lessons at KS3 and KS4. You will need to have experience working in a secondary school or in a similar setting with children aged 11-18. The ideal candidate will be engaging and enthusiastic about sport and PE and be comfortable managing challenging behavior as and when it may be required.

To succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate

* Teaching or coaching secondary age students in Sports or PE
* Work with groups of students in an environment where health and safety is paramount
* An understanding of PE curriculum at KS3 and GCSE
* An ability to engage, enthuse and challenge secondary students whilst maintaining classroom discipline
