Pearson Whiffin Education are working on behalf of a secondary school in the Maidstone area to find a teacher of English to start in January 2023 on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful teacher will need to have experience in teaching English to GCSE level.

The successful candidate will be a student-centred classroom practitioner possessing a depth of subject knowledge and able to inspire and enthuse wonderful, intelligent students. You will have considerable leadership skills and will be fully acquainted with the demands and requirements of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.

In order to apply for this role the following criteria must be met:

* Strong subject knowledge of English
* Able to interview for a September 2022 start
* Strong classroom management skills
* Able to provide reference details to cover the past two years working in a similar role
