Business Development Manager

£35,000 - £40,000 DOE + car + fuel card commission

Field role covering the South East Region

Main office located in North Kent



A new opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join my client's team with their main office being based in North Kent. Your time will usually be split between being out on the field (4 days) and 1 day for admin, the admin day can be from home or in the North Kent office. This role will be covering the South East Region (London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex) and in order to be considered you must have a full driving license.

Duties include:

* Responsible for the development of the accounts to increase turnover and profit
* Developing and building strong relationships with prospect and current customers to achieve sales targets
* Negotiating prices with new and existing customers to ensure the best possible return for the business
* Identifying new sales opportunities

To be considered for this role, you must have / be:

* Previous experience within an FMCG or food related industry
* Experience dealing with both distributors and suppliers
* Strong relationship building skills
* Organised
* Able to work alone and use initiative but also able to work as a team
* Able to work flexibly to suit the business needs - you will be required to travel and visit customers/suppliers when required
* A full driving license with the flexibility to travel across the South East
