An exciting new opportunity has opened within a successful food distribution organisation as a New Product Development Assistant, located in Mid Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is hands on and keen to work in a fast- paced environment.



Duties for this position include:

* Contributing to the development of new products and samples with the support from management
* Liaising and meeting with clients when required
* Supporting in the kitchen
* Accurately recording and completing documentation
* Processing orders and ensuring stock rotation is maintained
* Working within a fast-paced environment supporting all areas of NPD
* Physical labour including moving mechanical parts and lifting heavy objects
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Any other duties and tasks which are required

The right candidate will have/be:

* Able to be flexible in helping other areas of NPD
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
* Previous experience required in Manufacturing / Product Development (desirable but not essential)
* 2 science GCSE's or equivalent qualifications
