Account Manager

£25,000 - £30,000

Mid Kent

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm



A brand new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join my clients team based in Mid Kent. You will be the face of the company for all sales in the USA and the first point of contact for any USA enquiries.



Duties include:



* Managing the distributor in the USA, building a first class relationship with a view to improving sales
* Researching the best routes to market and dealing with any enquiries from the distributor
* Monitoring KPI's and analysing sale trends in order to develop the best strategy to increase growth
* Keeping up to date with the US regulatory requirements
* Being the main point of contact for any US sales and dealing with any queries, including liaising with other teams internally regarding any orders, dispatch, quality or supply chain issues
* Any other duties as required





The successful candidate will have / be:



* Experience working in an Account Management or Customer Care role servicing US markets, ideally within FMCG distribution or production
* Experience of export management to and/or within US or North American markets
* First class interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build effective professional relationships
* Analytical in approach with great reporting skills
* Able to use their initiative and generate new ideas to improve the business
* A strong understanding of the USA market and identifying the cultural differences between the UK and the USA including time differences, competitors, characteristics of the target audience, regulatory differences
* Flexibility with hours to suit the business need



This is an exciting time to be joining the business; they are currently trading in the USA, but are really looking to really boost their sales across the country and explore new channels, including potentially more widely in North America.
