Job Goals

To ensure that the customer site in the area to which he is assigned is operational to the Company's contractual obligations, provide structured customer training and submit paperwork in accordance with company and Customers guidelines.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

* Preventive Maintenance
* Corrective Maintenance
* Maintain Site Stock
* Maintain Documentation
* Liaise with customers
* Liaise with service manager
* Operator training

Competencies required for the JOB

Technologies - Specific product training BPS M5/M7, C1, BPS C4, C2, C5, X8, Laurel Note counters, Erapa equipment (as appropriate) - Datacard products, Bowe Systec, Canon Printers. Fully IT conversant across a range of Packages.

Knowledge - Engineering apprenticeship, electrical apprenticeship, CSCS preferred but not essential.

Essential experience

Professional Experience - Engineering training and qualifications. Experience in the Service Industry preferable.

Project Experience - Preferable but not essential - Datacard MX6100 experience preferred, Canon VP140 experience preferred, Bowe Systec (mail sort) or enveloper experience preferred

Intercultural Experience - Preferable as most sites in the UK are multi-cultural
