An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer DMLRO) to join my client's team based in West Malling. The successful candidate will have experience within Financial Services (or similar) background and have extensive knowledge of regulations surrounding Anti Money Laundering (AML), Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF), Tax Evasion, Bribery & Corruption and Fraud.



Duties include (not exhaustive):



* The point of reference for expertise in matters of anti-money laundering and prevention of terrorist financing
* Support the MLRO in reviewing the 1LOD's risk assessments of financial crime and ensure that are compliant with current policies and procedures; including AML, CTF, Tax Evasion, Sanctions and ABC
* Reporting on behalf of the MLRO, any suspicions of money laundering and terrorist financing
* Analysing regulatory developments on Financial Crime matters
* Providing advice and training on Financial Crime procedures
* Influencing and strengthening Financial Crime processes
* Overseeing systems and controls for AML and CTF
* Working closely with the Risk and Compliance team



The successful candidate will have / be:



* Solid knowledge of the regulations surrounding Financial Crime including: FCA, FATF and JMLSG initiatives, Compliance reporting, planning and monitoring, FCA and NCA reporting requirements
* Compliance experience within a Financial environment, or similar
* A relevant, or a commitment to study towards a qualification in AML, CTF, Fraud
* A clear communicator
* Able to write concise reports
* Flexible; some travel to other offices / countries may be required
