Primary School Teaching Assistant

Pearson Whiffin Education have an exciting opportunity for an engaging and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join this wonderful primary school base din Maidstone, Kent.

The successful candidate will support a key stage 2 class and be responsible for supporting the class teacher with lesson planning and learning activities. They will demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and be able to support students in small groups or a 1:1 basis.

Requirements for this role are as follows;

* Experience of working as a teaching assistant in a UK school
* Holding a teaching assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
* Some experience working with SEN children
* Good behavior management strategies
* Live within easy access of the Maidstone area
* Good, strong group or 1:1 skills
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to acquire this)
