Electro / Mechanical Field Service Engineer - multiple locations across UK

Basildon, Bristol, Derby, Dunfermline, Camberley, Cheltenham, Crawley, Northampton (candidate within a 20 min drive from location)



Atlas Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Electro / Mechanical Field Service Engineer on behalf of an exciting After Sales Service Provider, who's client list includes some of the industry's largest OEM's



Overview

To carry out the installation, servicing, moves & changes, upgrade, modification, and repair of my clients' customers electromechanical equipment across the Medical, Print, Cinema or Ophthalmic sector. A solid understanding in the fundamentals within Electro / Mechanical Engineering is crucial for this position. With manufacture specific, and 'on the job' training is provided

Tools, equipment, company phone and car are all supplied



Responsibilities

* To carry out the installation, servicing, moves & changes, upgrade, modification, and repair requirements of the company customer base as requested
* To always apply a professional, reactive, and proactive service to our customers
* Problem-solve in a responsible and methodical manner
* To be flexible to work within other regions of the UK within given notice as required
* Effectively maintain vehicle stock inventory
* Be responsible for ensuring safe working practices under the Health & Safety Acts

Knowledge, skills and experience

* Previous engineering experience in a related environment
* Excellent customer service skills
* Good core engineering skills and knowledge
* Electrical/Electronic/ Mechanical Software Engineering experience
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Smart appearance
* Good telephone manner
* Clean driving licence



Qualifications

3 GCSE's or equivalent, to include Maths and English desirable.

Ideal academic level preferred: City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC / HND in Engineering
