Job Title: Technical Manager (Food Production)

Salary: £50-55,000 DOE

Location: North Kent

Our client, an established and growing commercial produce supplier based in North Kent, has a vacancy for an experienced Technical Manager to support their operational teams in providing an excellent service.

Duties include:

* Maintaining and developing Quality Management systems.
* Managing all due diligence information for customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with UK and EU legislation and best practice.
* Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
* Taking responsibility for scheduling and performing internal audit programmes, and Quality equipment maintenance, testing and calibration.
* Managing technical budget ensuring best value for money.
* Identifying, setting, and monitoring technical KPIs.
* Complaint processing and rejection analysis to improve service provision.
* Maintaining the customer database, including product specifications and document control.

The successful candidate will have:

* Solid experience in a similar role, demonstrating management of technical requirements and audit schedules.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* A solid understanding of technical detail and due diligence requirements.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Good organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills.
