Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Clerk to join their busy transport department based in Medway, Kent. This role would suit a candidate who is interested in a varied role and the ability to gain a Class 2 licence

This role is varied involving for the following (full training will be provided):

• De-briefing drivers
• Unloading and loading using a Fork Lift counterbalance
• Transport compliance
• Manual handling
• After your initial transport department training our client will pay for you to do a full HGV 2 course

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• This role involves manual handling and so the ability to do so is required
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to work towards strict deadlines

Salary

• The rate of pay while being paid through the agency is £10.57 per hour + holiday pay which is £22,000 as an annual salary
• Once fully trained the salary will be in the region of £25,000 - £26,000
• The hours of work are likely to be 08:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday
