Teaching Assistant

Job description

Do you have experience working with children? Have you worked in a classroom or educational setting? Pearson Whiffin Education are on the lookout for a passionate and supportive teaching assistant to work in an outstanding primary school in the Ashford area.

The successful candidate will be expected to assist with behaviour management, work with students on a 1:1 basis and ensure a safe learning environment is maintained at all times.

* Experience of working as a teaching assistant in a UK school
* Holding a teaching assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
* Experience working with SEN students
* Live in or have easy access to the Ashford area
* Strong group and 1:1 skills
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to acquire this)
