Our client, a well-established family firm, are looking for an experienced, confident HR Manager to join them on a part time basis in a stand-alone role that is entirely office based.

This is a great opportunity for a strong senior HR professional looking for a new part time challenge within a long standing, inclusive business! We couldn't speak more highly of our client and are excited to tell you all about them and what they do!

Duties include:

* Taking the lead on all HR projects, focussing on implementing processes and procedures.
* Managing the full employee life cycle, including contract changes, probation extensions, absences and leave, disciplinary and grievance matters, and performance management.
* Managing recruitment and retention activities and programmes.
* Maintaining accurate HR and payroll records at all times, as well as all wider HR documentation and systems.
* Promoting training and upskilling across the company by developing and implementing appropriate programmes and plans.
* Providing advice and coaching to Managers to improve people processes, resulting in better business outcomes.
* Guiding management on maintaining and improving employee safety, welfare, health, and wellness, as well as ensuring company culture is maintained and developed.
* Taking ownership of the full on- and off-boarding processes, completing exit interviews as needed and feeding back to managers as appropriate.
* Maintaining own knowledge and expertise with relevant legislation, tax, and developments in the HR industry.
* Responding to all HR and payroll queries, including tax, holiday calculations and absence reporting.



The successful candidate will have:

* Excellent experience within a generalist HR role including Employee Relations, and the confidence to undertake a stand-alone position.
* Good levels of initiative and self-management, with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
* Demonstrable experience of influence and guiding others, supporting best practice decision making.
* Good, current knowledge of Employment Law, and experience applying it to real life situations.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification preferable.
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, experience with Breathe HR and/or Payroll Sage Cloud 50 advantageous.
