Do you have prior experience of working in customer service focussed environment, with Experience of using a computerised Finance system to input and extract financial transactions? Are you confident, and accurate, when working under pressure? If so, this post could be ideal.

In this role, you will administer student financial support, providing information to students and stakeholders on the financial support available and dealing with enquiries relating to applications. You will be committed to delivering a high quality service to the University’s students and potential students with excellent communication skills. You will have excellent organisational skills and work well as a member of a team.

The role is full-time for the first 12 months, then reducing to 0.85FTE (29.75 hours per week) thereafter.

What will you be doing, day to day?

Managing the administration of Student Loan payments
Providing information to students on all financial support available
Dealing with the administration of student funding applications
Responding to enquiries, and escalate to relevant colleagues where necessary
What are we looking for?

Educated to A-Level or equivalent, as well as GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above
Experience of using a computerised Finance system to input and extract financial transactions
Experience of providing customer service and understanding customer needs
Excellent organisational skills, with a methodical approach to work with accuracy even under pressure
