Despatch Operative

Mid Kent

Full Time

£11.50 per hour

Shifts:

Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 or 12:00 -20:00 and core shifts will be Days 12:00 - 20:00 once fully trained.

A great opportunity has risen with our client based in Mid Kent who are currently seeking an experienced Despatch Operative to join their team.

This is a temporary position with a successful company with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

Duties to include:

* Preparing goods for collection
* Picking and checking orders
* Receiving products and storing correctly
* Stock check and rotation
* Monitoring and tracking of packaging
* Preparing documentation and despatch reports
* Loading vehicles
* Maintaining safe and tidy work environment
* Driving industrial vehicles (e.g. forklift)

The successful candidate will be:

* Physically fit
* Experienced working in a chilled warehouse environment
* Experienced using a PPT electric pallet truck
* Proactive, able to work on own initiative
* An excellent communicator
* Good written and verbal english
* Forklift licence - Desirable but not essential
