Finance Manager | Mid Kent | c42-46k + bonus + package

An established, international SME with UK head offices in Kent, are on the hunt for an experienced management accountant / finance manager to support their UK finance function. Reporting into the FD and with responsibility for a team of 3, this is a ‘hands on’ role, allowing the individual to get involved in the complete finance function in a team orientated business.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce a monthly management reporting pack (including balance sheet and cash flow reports) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile balance sheet stock to ASV stock on a monthly basis.
• Ensure balance sheet positions are presented correctly with necessary reconciliations and schedules being produced on a monthly basis.
• Manage three members of staff.
• To manage system errors.
• Oversee the raising of Raise rebate and Promotional Credit notes.
• Manage fixed assets and book depreciation on a monthly basis.
• Ensure Aftercare and job costs are recorded correctly, accrued and reported upon on a monthly basis.
• Assist Finance Director with budget and reforecast activities, e.g. production of various overhead schedules.
• Assist Finance Director with year-end audit work, e.g. production of schedules, explanations for Auditors, etc.
• Produce Quarterly VAT returns.
• Complete National Statistics returns.
• Support to Purchase ledger and Sales ledger roles on technical aspects where necessary.
• Pricing maintenance cost and sales.
• Monthly Debtor reviews with Credit controller.
• Maintain and improve Internal Controls.
