Our client, based in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, is looking for an Operations Administrator to join their friendly payments team.
This key role is responsible for ensuring that all Cash Payments requests are actioned promptly, Cash receipts are applied correctly to Client accounts and all Bank accounts are fully funded.
Responsibilities will include:
- Monitor a shared email inbox to ensure all queries are responded to promptly
- Pay all cheques received onto client accounts and deposit them at the bank daily
- Provide cover for other team members when required by learning other roles and broadening personal knowledge
- Ensure Client accounts have sufficient funds to make any payments requested and apply appropriate fees to cover the payment costs.
Requirements
- Good numerical and computer skills
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
- Can work accurately under pressure and multi-task
- Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving
