Conveyancing Legal Secretary

£24,000 - £27,000 DOE

Are you a legal secretary with experience in conveyancing? If the answer is yes, then this role may be for you! My client is an accredited firm, with multiple awards from Chambers & Partners and The Law Society. They are currently looking for a Legal Secretary to provide meticulous administrative and secretarial support to the Conveyancing team.

Duties include:

* Providing administrative and secretarial support
* Preparing accurate documents and correspondence
* Sorting files for archiving and retrieving files when required
* Managing the fee earner's mailbox and filing as appropriate
* Dealing with any telephone enquiries and making accurate notes of calls
* Assisting reception and the other secretaries
* Assisting with any other duties as required

The successful candidate will have / be:

* A strong attention for detail
* Able to communicate both written and verbally
* Organised and able to work under pressure
* A team player
* Able to make quick and concise notes; 55 WPM
* Confident using IT; including MS Office applications
* Previous experience as a legal secretary in a conveyancing background will be a significant advantage
* ILEX legal secretary qualification or equivalent is not essential, but would also be a significant advantage
