Temporary Secretary with Medical Experience

Ongoing for at least 2 months - could be longer!

£15.00 per hour

Monday to Friday - on site, hours 9-5

Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting a temporary Secretary with previous NHS/private hospital experience to start work ASAP in the Maidstone area

Duties

* Providing all admin support to Consultants and Medical Professionals
* Making notes from meetings
* Audio typing consultant notes
* Dealing with medical specialists
* Booking patient appointments for consultants
* Ensure patients are treated respectfully
* Manage confidential files on bespoke medical system
* Ensure day to day co-ordination of patient appointments
* Respond efficiently to all written and verbal enquires from patients and relatives, escalating if needed.

What you will need

* You will need to be available to start immediately
* Strong MS office skills
* Strong typing skills, to include Audio
* Previous medical Secretarial experience is essential
* Ability to work under high amounts of pressure
* Able to work proactively
* Ability to work with several senior members of staff and be able to prioritise workload
