Risk and Compliance Officer

West Malling (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £40,000

Working hours 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch break

A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Risk and Compliance Officer to join my client's friendly team who are based in West Malling.

Duties include:

* Monitoring reviews to ensure business is conducted in full compliance with laws and regulations
* Supporting the Risk and Compliance team in creating the annual Risk and Compliance Monitoring Plan
* Conducting quarterly reviews to monitor progress, recommend changes and report appropriately
* Providing advice to the business on how to achieve compliance



The successful candidate will have / be:

* Solid experience and knowledge of a regulated environment e.g. FCA, ICO, Charity Commission
* Experience of Horizon scanning
* Able to develop policies, procedures, and guidance
* Experience of Compliance Monitoring Planning
* Significant experience in Risk Management Frameworks, concepts, and processes
* Able to produce and deliver a Compliance Monitoring Plan
* Competent using Microsoft Office
