The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently working with a Back-Office Cloud Transformation consultant to search for an IT PMO Governance Lead to join their growing projects team on a permanent basis.

The organisation support their customers across the Public Sector to transition their back-office systems into a fully cloud-based managed solution. They are a young company but have substantial financial backing from the government and are looking to grow their workforce of 500+ to match their customer growth and continued project load.

The role of IT PMO Governance Lead will be to effectively maintain, develop and support the governance, assurance and standards of the project portfolio across the entire business whilst ensuring their customers receive an efficient, friendly and professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide guidance, documentation, and metrics related to the practices involved in managing and implementing services and projects.
* Perform and put in place project assurance and governance artefacts and processes to ensure standards are adhered to and reports are provided in a timely manner.
* Assist the Project Managers in the production and maintenance of project plans, risk and issues, and other project related activities in line with PMO activities.
* Assist in the production of proposals by ensuring that all proposals have all the correct paperwork necessary for the start date to be achieved.
* Monitor progress and complete regular reports on delivery and overall project status including reports to senior management on the performance of the programme and project portfolio.
* Responsible for ensuring project and programme assurance by carrying out or commissioning quality health checks.
* Understand and comply with company procedures, working practices and look to continually develop the PMO function to ensure there is alignment to industry standards.
* Realign forecasted milestones in the Project Management tool to meet current project plan expectations.

Package:

Salary up to £55,000 + Bonus
