Are you an experienced administrator with an excellent eye for detail?

Do you work well to deadlines, proactively managing tasks and conflicting demands while maintaining a professional and high-quality customer service?

We currently have two Timetabling Officer opportunities, one is a permanent contract and the other is fixed term cover for one year.

These are busy roles taking responsibility for the University’s teaching and exams timetables, allocating students to groups, room bookings, data quality checks and reporting.

As Timetabling Officer you can expect to get involved in:

planning and maintaining the teaching timetable and schedule the exams timetable for both Canterbury and Medway campuses using complex software (training will be given)
applying knowledge of systems and physical resources to resolved timetabling problems
developing and maintaining effective working relationships with University staff and provide advice and guidance
What we are looking for in the right candidate:

proven and recent office administration management in a busy working environment
competence in MS Office programmes and good general IT skills
experience of dealing with a complex range of user needs and negotiating positive outcomes
