Job Title: Hospitality and Events Coordinator

Salary: £23 - 32,000 depending on experience

Location: Brands Hatch

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Coordinator has opened for a driven individual looking to join a long established, market leading company!

The ideal candidate will be energetic and hardworking, playing a key role in the planning and preparation of a diverse range of exciting events. Weekend and evening working will be essential.



Duties include:

* Acting as primary contact for up to 46 annual suite holders with extensive relationship management.
* Providing hospitality and events clients with a point of contact, from point of sale through to on the day running of events and post event feedback.
* Producing all function sheets and preparation documents and keeping the database accurate and up to date.
* Event specific preparation including room set up, internal and external signage and liaising with the catering team.
* Ensuring invoices raised and payment terms met as appropriate.
* Liaising and working closely with other areas of the business, such as sales, marketing, catering, facilities, finance, and maintenance.

* Producing and dispatching client guest packs.
* General ad hoc sales, administration and office duties as required
* Managing risk assessments prior to any events and ensuring all health and safety checks are completed and signed off

The successful candidate will have/be:

* Experience in an events planning/ hospitality role.
* Ideally, relevant health and safety related qualification such as IOSH.
* Highly organised and capable of managing a number of workflows.
* Strong communication & presentation skills
* Excellent written and spoken English
* The ability to establish good working relationships internally and externally
* A natural problem solver, using your own initiative to resolve any issues as and when they arise
* Good IT skills, including all MS office applications
* Commercially focused with excellent attention to detail
* Ambitious with energy and drive; demonstrating a passion to succeed
* Willing to work long hours, including evenings and weekends as required
* Awareness of health and safety legislation
