Are you looking for a new opportunity to progress further in your career? Or are you looking to start a new chapter? This is an exciting chance for a Finance Manager to be a part of the Operations Management Team based on outskirts of the Sittingbourne Area. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in the company and will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities include:
-Monthly payroll processing
-VAT and CIS Returns
-Weekly & Monthly CIS processing of subcontract labour payments
-Production of the monthly management accounts
-Bank reconciliation duties
-Management and supervision of the data entry into the company accounts system
-Liaise with company accountants for annual accounts and other statutory requirements
-Approve and process supplier payments
-Undertake payments to suppliers via the banking system
-Management of the client invoicing process including validation of new customers
-Participate in communications activities
-Provide all required reports to the business directors and heads of business divisions
-Managing premises, lease and suppliers
-Manage monthly credit card and weekly expenses process
-Ensure all written and verbal communication is articulate, accurate and professional at all times
-Where possible, provide business support to company associates
-Work closely with Project managers on Monthly commercial applications
-Insurance renewals (Business and Fleet)
-Cashflow forecasting
-Budgeting and forecasting

Ideal applicant would:

-Have knowledge of Sage line 50 or similar Accounting software packages
-Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
-Be commercially astute
-Have experience within the Construction industry
-Maintain a professional image at all times
-Have good work ethic, with desire to succeed in line with company values
-Be self-motivated with keen eye for detail
-Have to work such hours as are deemed reasonable and necessary to fulfil the requirement of the role
