Finance Officer

CXK, a well-established charity located in the centre of Ashford, are offering a Finance Officer the opportunity to join a high performing finance team.

For the successful candidate, CXK are offering flexibility for the 0.8 fte to be worked across 4 or 5 days each week plus also the option to move to a hybrid working option of a minimum 2 days per week in the office.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your role will include duties such as:

Payroll – Process Payroll from Start to finish

Payroll – Act as the point of contact for all staff payroll queries

Payroll – Support the Year End process including P11Ds and P60s

Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual accounts

Processing invoices and journals

Raising sales invoices and bank receipts

Making payments by BACS to suppliers and staff

Bank reconciliations, credit card and petty cash reconciliation

Providing advice and dealing with general day to day queries

Who are we looking for?

A team player who can fit in and work well in a friendly but dynamic finance team.

Ideally you will be easily approachable and have good communication skills.

Good maths skills are a must with very strong attention to detail.

Studying for AAT or equivalent would be a positive in this position.

Applicants must have experience of processing end to end payroll.

Ability to prioritise workloads to meet monthly deadlines.

Prior experience in a finance function.
