Project manager - Housebuilder - North Kent - Houses and apartments - £to 70k + package/bonus

A leading national housebuilder with multiple sites across Kent & SE London, projects ranging from 100 - 300 units typically larger phased schemes, With several new projects starting imminently plus a recent retirement an experienced Project manager is now sought to run one of the new schemes. The role will be North Kent based on a permanent basis. Initial site will be a multi-phased apartment scheme project in a town centre - mix of RC frame and traditional build. No.1 one on site overseeing the various phases and senior management team,

Your new role
As project manager you will be no.1 on a larger scheme reporting to the construction director, you will join the project at pre-construction stage and in conjunction with the relevant departments have responsibility for site mobilisation, appointment of site team, sub contract procurement, approval of construction phase plan then moving to managing the Site team and subcontractors to deliver the project, delivering progress reports to the Directors on a monthly basis and liaising with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the scheme from both a financial, programme and safety point of view.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of running a major house building scheme is essential as either a pm or experienced senior site manager. You will have worked for a national house builder and be comfortable managing site teams from pre-construction through to NHBC handover and after-sales. You will be comfortable working in the Kent and be looking for a permanent role with a stable, background and sound references.
