An opportunity to progress your career with a leading specialist insurer in London market and European commercial lines business, who underwrite in both the Lloyd's and company market.



The Senior Data Governance Manager will be responsible for leading a team focused on driving cultural change with respect of data, where data is seen as fundamental to the success of the business. You will also oversee the effective management of that data, from the point of entry, through to analytics and be responsible for embedding data governance across the business and ensuring regulatory compliance e.g. Solvency II.



To achieve this goal the Senior Data Governance Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective partnering of the various teams across the group that are involved in and support the day-to-day data quality activities and governance processes.

* Establish an Effective Operating Model

* Provide Central Services

* Ensure Regulatory Compliance

* Establish effective Policy's, Frameworks and Governance Bodies



You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience:



* Extensive Insurance industry knowledge and experience in UK, European and Lloyd's markets including policy admin systems, claims management systems, processes, and business practices
* Expert knowledge of data management methodologies, techniques, tools and best practices
* Knowledge of change management principles and practices
* Experience in meeting Solvency II data quality criteria and experience of consistent and constructive people management capabilities
* Understanding of the Lloyds Data Standards Control Framework.
* Experience within a change environment
* Significant experience in the management of data quality and the techniques used to support this
