We are currently recruiting for a successful Maintenance company contractor who have recently been awarded new contracts in the Kent area for Social Housing organisations.

The role will see you working on planned and reactive painting projects in both occupied and void properties.

You will be required to have your own public liability insurance in place.

Duties:
Provide a timely and effective service to the customers by routinely carrying out the following tasks on a maintenance basis when required: Repair and maintain wall's and floors.
Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports. Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
Deal with painting and decorating emergencies when required Respond to emergencies within the designated time frames. Demonstrating an excellent understanding of the principles of providing excellent customer service.

Take the initiative to ensure that all processes, procedures and systems are carried out to the highest standard and ensuring that the service provided is in line with company standard. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions and operate in accordance with the instructions received.
Workplace Health and Safety Ensure all equipment is securely stored and maintained in a condition suitable for next use. Report any damage or breakage of property.

Ensure that precautions are taken to protect property. Ensure all security measures are taken where applicable. Ensure all maintenance and services of equipment is conducted on a regular basis and assure all set safety & security procedures are adhered to.
