Your new company
Hays are the leading recruiter for the Education sector and therefore work with a number of schools throughout the Thanet and surrounding areas.

Your new role
Joining Hays as a supply teacher, you will be responsible for managing classrooms of between 25 and 30 pupils within secondary schools. You will be responsible for managing behaviour, delivering pre-planned work, ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained and ensuring all pupils are completing the required work. You will regularly be in the same schools throughout Thanet and the surrounding areas, therefore will build strong working relationships with schools.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status, previously worked with children between the ages of 11 and 18 within an educational setting, ideally having managed groups of pupils independently. This experience must also have been for a minimum of 40 days within the last 1-2 years. You will have a proactive approach, as well as have a passion for working with children. You must be able to associate yourself with the below qualities:
