About the role: Ebbsfleet Academy are looking for a Career & Post 16 Coordinator to join their vibrant and dedicated community as soon as possible. This exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate to lead on the academy’s work to secure the best possible future for our students, through securing and maintaining a high-quality careers provision. This role will also support the delivery of an effective sixth form offering at EA6, maximising student retention from KS4 to KS5, and supporting with the implementation and evaluation of the Character Development Pathway developed by the Ebbsfleet Academy leadership team.

Our successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

To develop and lead on the strategic overview of the careers provision which meets the expectations set out in the Gatsby benchmark
To plan and implement a programme of Careers Education & Guidance (CEG) for Years 7-13
To liaise with industry partners to allow opportunities for students to access external CEG from local industries
