We have a vacancy for a well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate to join our staff as a Modern Foreign Language Assistant Tutor for three academic terms starting in September 2021.

The Junior King’s School is a co-education Day and Boarding School for pupils between the ages of 3-13, offering superb educational, boarding, (with current boarders from 9 years+) extra-curricular and sporting facilities.

The role will involve supporting children in class, running one to one sessions with bilingual students and creating resources for the department. The role also involves assisting with boarding duties. An ability to contribute to sport and to the co-curricular life of the school is important.

The role is likely to suit those seeking further experience of working with children prior to, or following, teacher training. Ideal candidates will speak fluent Spanish and have experience in conversational French, as they will have to support pupils in both languages.

Single accommodation within a shared house will be provided together with all meals during term-time. Salary, inclusive of holiday, £14,058 per annum (Figure advertised includes deduction for accommodation offset and may be subject to increase in September 2021).
