Project Manager - Mental Health
£24,240 - £27,297 per annum
Porchlight
The role will support a new, time-limited service for people and communities most affected by Covid, preventing its impact in the longer term. It will focus on those on low incomes, and individuals facing higher risks to their mental health, including people with long-term conditions, and existing mental health problems. The support provided will add to the provision of the highly successful Live Well Kent & Medway mental health and wellbeing service, which includes Porchlight’s own services, as well as a range of delivery partners.
The role will co-ordinate, manage and allocate referrals for the service as well as managing and supporting a team of mental health link workers across 6 Kent localities. A key focus will be to review and report on referral trends and patterns, as well as monitoring and maintaining all caseload allocations, overseeing the utilisation and capacity of the service. The role will work closely with local district and borough councils, as well as other key stakeholders.
The role requires:
- Good communication and people skills
- The ability to develop strong working relationships with other organisations
- Knowledge of health & social care organisations in the area that support people who have mental health needs
- Strong organisational skills (including the ability to use your own initiative and prioritise your own workload)
Interview date: 30th June 2021
Location: Flexible - either home, Thanet, Folkstone, Swale or Gravesend
Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2022
Working Pattern: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility required
