Class 2 Driver - Woolwich

The Best Connection are currently seeking a Category C Class 2 Driver to fill a position in Woolwich. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 2 Licence and must have Class 2 driving experience.

You will be tasked with the delivery of water in London and the south east area. The bottles can be quite heavy so some degree of physical fitness is a must. As you will be meeting with company clients, good customer service skills are a must.

This is a Monday to Friday position. 6am start time with a scheduled 4pm finish.

Responsibilities of the Category C Class 2 Driver

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
• Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Cat C Class 2 Driver

• Category C Class 2 Licence
• Class 2 Driving experience
• Current and in date CPC & Digicard
• Verifiable references

Compensation of the Category C Class 2 Driver

The starting salary for this position is up to £15 hourly, depending on experience.
