Assistant Accountant - immediate start

£200 Day PAYE
Our client based in Battersea is looking for an Assistant Accountant to start on an immediate basis.

* Overseeing multiple bank accounts, preparing bank reconciliations and reports daily
* Creating and updating deal ledgers as and when exchanges and completions arise
* Preparation of VAT returns for multiple companies
* Accounts payable - preparation of creditor reports manually on excel as well as processing weekly payment runs.
* Accounts receivable - running debtor reports and reconciling records. Chasing the relevant departments for payment when required.
* Processing wages of employees and subcontractors on a weekly and monthly basis
* Preparation of budget reports for a number of different projects as well as analysis breakdown on a weekly basis, holding meetings to discuss costs and any reason for under/over spending.
* Submission of all Companies House records for a number of companies, filing confirmation statements, annual accounts, any changes required.
* Liaising with the various teams of sales, auctioneers and lawyers maintaining a good working relationship daily.
* Property management of multiple rental properties
