ALTERATIONS TAILOR– THE SCHOOL SHOP.

10 hours per week – 40 weeks per year
Salary: £11.00 per hour + benefits

Based in the stunning setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey – a World Heritage Site – The King’s School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.
Reporting to the Shop Manager, we require an Alterations Tailer to work in our School Shop, to provide a uniform alterations service to pupils and staff at the King’s school, Junior school, and the international college.

You will be required to deal with customer queries regarding alterations and record keeping of any account and cash sales from the alteration service, and you will also support the shop with its day-to-day operations including sales as required. This role could work alongside our Sales Assistant role of 20 hours a week. Please discuss this at interview if you are interested in both roles.
