Senior .Net Developer needed to join a Global Financial Services firm based in West Malling, Kent.

The Senior .Net Developer will have In depth Technical Application Development skills in one or more languages focused on the Microsoft .Net stack including, C#, VB.Net, PowerShell
Knowledge and experience of some of the following:

• Desktop and Web applications
• Web front end technology such as Angular, Vue, React, KendoUI
• Web Services
• Design patterns
• Microsoft SQL Server
• K2 or other Workflow Solution
• Continuous Integration and deployment using AzureDevOps
• Issue tracking and management software such as Jira
• Version Control Management such as Git
• Middleware and integration technology such as ServiceBus, MuleSoft
• Insurance/Finance experience would be good, but not essential
The role involves the design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended desktop applications, web applications and automations from specifications in accordance with agreed standards within the division that you work. This will include the specification and design of information systems to meet defined business needs, coding of the solution, appropriate testing, documentation and implementation.
Any solution needs to include compatibility with enterprise and solution architectures, and the adherence to corporate standards within constraints of cost, security and sustainability.

In addition to design and coding, most developers will be required to elicit and document the specification of business requirements to a level that enables effective delivery of agreed changes and implement the incremental and logical integration and testing of components and/or subsystems and their interfaces in order to create operational services.

Experience of working in an Agile environment with SCRUM.

The Senior .Net Developer will have Knowledge of good quality processes including code review, unit testing, coding standards, appropriate documentation, and continuous integration/delivery.
