If you are a good communicator with strong administration skills, we would welcome your application for the divisional role of Employability & Placements Administrator.

The education and employability of our students lies at the centre of the University's strategy; in this role you will be contributing to improving the student experience through high-quality employability and placement provision. You will work as part of a team that delivers an outstanding service which embeds the Divisional and University employability/careers strategy and ensures students are provided with appropriate opportunities to improve their graduate outcomes and employment prospects.

As Employability & Placements Administrator you will:

Maintain and update the Placements Management System
Provide administrative support for the effective organisation, management and delivery of employability/careers and placement activities and initiatives
Track event and activity attendance and obtain feedback from participating students
Develop and maintain a placements and employability guide that can be used as a reference for staff as directed by the Employability & Placements Officer/Manager

To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience of working in a busy office environment, delivering excellent customer service
Experience of dealing with customers or external enquiries from outside an organisation, and being able to create an excellent impression
Experience of maintaining accurate electronic records and using databases on a regular basis, and of paying close attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences
