Clark James are a leading Insurance Recruitment Specialist working with a very well respected, successful Insurance Brokerage on the East Sussex/Kent border, being in a fairly rural location a driver would be preferrable.

Due to a retirement the Broker is looking for an individual with Commercial Insurance experience to join the team as an Account Handler playing a key role in their Commercial Broking Team.

Main duties will include:

Dealing with renewals and looking after clients mid term
Dealing with New Business Enquiries and broking these to the market
Understanding the client's business and risk profiles.
Building a general knowledge of designated clients, their industry and business operations.
Communicating client's needs to underwriters.
Building a relationship with clients and giving prompt attention to their requests.
Attending client meetings
