This is a well known multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, that has been established for over 20 years. They work across multiple sectors that include commercial, residential, education and leisure. They are based in South London and employ over 90 staff across their disciplines.

One of the attractions to this company, is their passion for growing and developing talent which is given the same level of attention from the trainees through to the Directors and partners. They have an apprenticeship scheme to assist school leavers looking to gain experience in the industry, they have in house training programmes to support all levels within the business and can also boast a 70% pass rate for their RICS APC surveyors - also supported by APC assessors within the business.

As part of their continued growth and because they have established relationships within their clients and remained busy throughout this tough period, they are now looking for an MRICS Building Surveyor to join their South London office.

Your new role
As part of the role, you will be require to be able to complete the following; the undertaking a variety of surveys and inspections, assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies, preparing and producing specifications for works, coordinating other members and stakeholders in the design team, act as the employers agent and contract administrator where required, preparing tender and contract documents, primarily JCT and some NEC forms, analyse site activities; prepare progress reports on time, quality and cost of projects, advise on and act in accordance with the Party Wall act as an appointed surveyor and advising on and acting in accordance with CDM 2015 in line with principal designer hiring criteria.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have the following; you must hold an active MRICS membership, employers agent experience, experience in either housing, leisure or education sectors of the construction industry, effective report writing and the ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels, be able to motivate and lead a team; ability to take responsibility and deliver results and the ability to manage client expectations.

What you'll get in return
